Ers 2012 mae’r Pedwarawd Capriccio wedi cael llwyddiant mawr ac wedi ennill y wobr gyntaf yng Nghystadleuaeth Cerddoriaeth Siambr Rhyngwladol Ilzach a’r  Gystadleuaeth Pedwarawd Llinynnol Rhyngwladol yn Bordeaux. Yr aelodau yw Cécile Agator a Juan Fermin Ciriaco (feiolin), Flore-Anne Brosseau (fiola) a  Samuel Etienne (sielo). Gwahoddir y Pedwarawd i berfformio’n aml ar radio Ffrainc ac yn y Philharmonie de Paris, a’r Cité de la Musique ac fe’i  clywir mewn llawer o wyliau, gan gynnwys yn Luberon, Flâneries de Reims, ‘Musical Hours’ Haut-Anjou, Festival BWD12 a Corbigny.

Jason’s career has taken him around the world as a solo artist and also with Sting, Jeff Beck, Peter Gabriel, Mica Paris, Joss Stone and many more artists. The Hallé and Nice Orchestras have also welcomed him to the stage. 

Pedro Faria Gomes - 'Chamber Works'

The chamber works featured this evening, from the decade 2009–18, include the substantial four-movement Sonata for violin and piano and explore such themes as memory, cyclicity, returning, waiting, and the quiet spaces and distorted perspectives of night. The concert celebrates the launch on the Naxos label of a CD recording by the same performers, which includes all the works on the programme.
