Music and the Animal Kingdom: Hsiang Tu (piano), Julian Carter, Principal Conservator (Natural Sciences)

29/10/2017, 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm

A performance on the Museum’s natural history collection. Music by Hsiang Tu words by Julian Carter, Principal Conservator (Natural Sciences).

We are inspired by the natural world in many ways. Within the walls of the museum, amongst the millions of specimens that form the natural science collections, is found a part of that wonder. These collections tell many stories, both scientific and culturally, and during this performance we will visit some of those stories and reveal some of the inspirational animal specimens in the care and conservation of the museum.

Julian’s talk will be accompanied by Hsiang Tu, playing a number of musical pieces inspired by the animal kingdom.
